You made it.
Sam and Ghoul embark on adventures of nonsense that originate from knee-jerk decisions and simple misunderstandings. They’re just two pals, you know, doing stuff and things like:
Oh, by the way, one of them is undead.
These stories are written in Flash Fiction, somewhere between 500-1000 words. Convenient for the attention span of today’s society. And me.
I go through the older stories often and edit, revise here and there. I want to have the best of my abilities reflected as I grow (as a writer, not a plant), so please understand if some of the past issues are currently unavailable.
Patreon!!!!!! — Coming Soon!!!!!
The end goal is turning Sam and Ghoul’s bizarre encounters into graphic novel or comic form, maybe even a fun book or two. All I ask is for you to read Ghoul, but if you somehow find these stories slightly above bearable, then please consider donating a monthly amount. Money from Patreon will allow me less time working, and more time creating. The support is so appreciated.
Make sure to follow Ghoul Flash Fiction on Twitter and Facebook!

My name is John Potts Jr. I currently live in a somewhat fictional town in Maine with my beautiful wife, son, and daughter. I am also a contributor to Pen of the Damned: free weekly horror with a modern edge.
If you’re into fiction that is more… well… not this, then may I suggest Collection of Endless Nightmares. There I post darker stories and share some of what Pen of the Damned has to offer.
Writing brings a certain satisfaction that will never be replicated in my life.
I hope you enjoy the stories and characters and nonsense throughout these words. And stop on back sometime, give the older issues a second chance. I tend to go back and edit, tweak things here and there as I progress as a writer.
